Design brief

I was ask to design a museum based on a self-selected “Object of Desire”. The museum should provide me with the opportunity to showcase the object in the most engaging way. The spaces must be designed to be informative and fun for everyone who will visit the museum and not only those with a specific interest in the subject area. It is envisaged that the object will form the 'core' of the museum and as such, the space allocated to it can be as sculptural and as esoteric as I would like to create. As the building has only recently undergone a major refurbishment, only minor alterations to the structure will be permitted. The space must clearly describe a vision of contemporary design. I need to design a series of exhibition spaces which can accommodate a wide variety of artefacts related to choosen object. Consider practical and creative display areas for the artefacts and also think about elements of interactivity within the building /exhibition for all age groups. Plan a circulation route through these spaces. In my project I based mainly on the subject of Harry Potter. I designed the interior in a very contemporary style with many additions to the selected object. I tried to add a few industrial accents such as brick and concrete. In my museum there are many exhibitions in which visitors can interact with objects inside. In a very good way, I managed to design a route running around the whole exhibition so that you can see everything without going back to the previous rooms. The whole exibition is bound in many objects related to forests and nature, besides, I added quite dark colors so that the objects on this background can be distinguished.
